WOMEN HAVE BEEN RIDING MOTORCYCLES AS LONG AS BIKES HAVE EXISTED — THE INDUSTRY JUST FORGOT TO MAKE ROOM FOR US.

In 1916, before paved roads, maps, or women being “allowed” to wear pants, Augusta and Adeline Van Buren rode their motorcycles across the United States. They were the first women to do it solo — facing arrests, mountain passes, and the Wild West with nothing but grit, gasoline, and guts.

A century later, we’re still riding that same spirit.
We’re a sisterhood of motorcycle lovers, misfits, dreamers, and do-ers — all following in the Van Buren sisters’ tire tracks.

If you live to ride or ride to live, you’re already one of us.
We make gear for women first — engineered to fit your body, your lifestyle, and your kind of wild.

Augusta & Adeline isn’t just about jackets and chaps — it’s about community.
We’re building a place where riders lift each other up, trade stories, share roads, and prove that freedom looks damn good in leather.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider, a two-up traveler, or just moto-curious — there’s a spot for you here.
Pull up, grab a coffee, and stay awhile. The road’s better when we ride it together.

Brittany Crook

Brittany Crook has built a reputation as one of the baddest women’s technical apparel designers around — a title hard-earned through over a decade and a half of experience designing for powerhouse brands like Arc’teryxMosko Moto, and Trew Gear.

She bought her first motorcycle in 2010 while finishing her technical apparel design degree, where her final project focused on an underserved market: women who ride. When she couldn’t find gear that fit right or felt like her, she made her own — and rode in it for the next 12 years. Through every season, road trip, and breakdown, her early designs became both her classroom and her testing ground.

After years designing high-performance gear built for the outdoors, her brother asked a simple question: “Has anyone solved that problem you found?” The answer was still no.

So she started building Augusta & Adeline — first prototypes in 2020, then three years of riding, testing, and refining every pattern, seam, and silhouette until the first production was ready.

Today, she combines technical precision with unapologetic style to create motorcycle gear that finally fits, moves, and feels like freedom. Every piece reflects her mission: to make women feel empowered, confident, protected, and unstoppable — tough and beautiful, all at once.

Workhorse Collective

Workhorse Collective teamed up with Augusta & Adeline from day one — powering the brand’s Kickstarter launch with high-impact visuals, razor-sharp messaging, and muscle to make it happen under budget and on time. Their expertise in scrappy, big-vision content helped turn a bold idea into a full-fledged movement. Here’s to the crew that doesn’t just make things look good — they make them work.

This cool to the core, Colorado raised cowgirl is bringin the heat with graphics and flare! These days you'll find her contemplating life's mysteries and finding the perfect balance of work and play in the Columbia River Gorge. When she's not designing and illustrating, you'll find her on one of her bikes, ski touring with her dogs, surfing the frigid Oregon coast or getting dirty in her garden.

This lady is an absolute ripper in any sport she tries whether it is slashing snow or kicking up dirt with her mountain bike. She’s fresh on the moto scene but is already snaking her way through the southern Washington trails on her dirt-lovin’ Yamaha!
